These Crispy Baked Buffalo Wings are a great protein to prepare for a crowd on game day with minimal effort!

These wings are THE BEST and the recipe is very simple! Baking these wings at a higher heat for 40 minutes allows the garlic and onion powder to cook into the crispy chicken skin. You don't need to add any extra fat to this recipe as wings are a higher fat and lower protein cut of chicken. They have more skin and less meat than other cuts of chicken so they won't dry out in the oven. My friends and family love this recipe and yours will too!
The best wings recipe with no added oil!
Nothing smells better in the oven than chicken baking with garlic and onion powder. These wings will make your house smell fantastic as they are cooking. Your family and guests will be so excited to eat these wings when they come in the door!
I used low calorie, low fat sauces with full flavor! I recommend Bolthouse dressings to my clients. Bolthouse makes delicious, creamy dressings and dips from Greek yogurt. The yogurt based dressing has more protein and less fat than regular bottled sauces. Primal Kitchen makes a great tasting buffalo sauce that is only 25 calories per tablespoon. It is made with avocado oil instead of the hydrogenated oils found in regular bottled sauces.
I teach my clients to include non-starchy vegetables in all of their meals. Non-starchy vegetables are low calorie and high fiber. They help you achieve a calorie deficit for weight loss, lower your cholesterol levels, and keep you feeling full longer. Eating enough non-starchy vegetables can be an easy step if you keep a supply of fresh cut veggies in your refrigerator. You can buy them pre-cut or prep them yourself. These Crispy Baked Chicken wings and accompanying sauces pair great with carrots and celery. Cauliflower and broccoli florets would also be good with Bolthouse ranch and bleu cheese dips. Feel free to be more creative with your veggie pairings.

Crispy Baked Buffalo Wings Recipe:
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings (skin on and bone in)
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried oregano
Sauce for serving - I use Bolthouse Farms Ranch or Bleu Cheese and Primal Kitchen Buffalo Sauce.

Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove wings from package and set on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle both sides of wings evenly with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
Bake wings top side down for 20 minutes. Flip after 20 minutes and bake for another 20 minutes.
While wings are baking, wash and cut your vegetables. Warm the buffalo sauce on the stovetop before serving.
When the wings are done, serve with Bolthouse ranch or bleu cheese dressing, buffalo sauce and carrots and celery.
